I. Safety Operation Specifications (Mandatory)
Hydraulic Safety (Required)
Turn off the engine, remove the key, set the hydraulic control lever to float/neutral position, release residual system pressure, and wait 5 minutes.High-pressure hydraulic oil can penetrate the skin and cause severe injury. Do NOT check leaks with hands; use cardboard or paper instead.Always wear safety goggles and oil-resistant gloves.Keep the work area away from open flames and heat sources. Hydraulic oil is flammable; smoking is prohibited.
Vehicle Support Safety
Park the tractor on a flat, solid ground. Apply the parking brake, shift to neutral, and install wheel chocks.Support the vehicle with safety stands; never rely only on a jack.Lower the hitch/implement completely to prevent accidental lifting or dropping.
Tools and Cleanliness
Prepare a torque wrench, open/box-end wrench, hydraulic line wrench, clean rags, hydraulic oil, and oil-resistant Teflon tape / thread sealant.Clean all parts before installation. No impurities are allowed to enter the hydraulic system.
II. Pre-Installation Inspection (Required)
1. Control Valve Matching Confirmation
Model, flow rate and pressure must match the tractor hydraulic system (common: 16–40 L/min, pressure 16–25 MPa).Port markings are clear: P (inlet), T (return), A/B (work/steering), with correct flow direction arrow.Mounting flange, hole spacing and bolt size match the original vehicle. Seals are intact, no aging or damage.
2. Component Inspection

3. System Inspection
Hydraulic oil cleanliness meets standard (NAS Grade 8 or above), oil level is normal.Hydraulic pump, filter and return line free of blockage or leakage.
III. Old Valve Removal Steps
Release Pressure and Marking
After confirming zero system pressure, mark hose positions and directions with a marker and take photos for reference to avoid wrong connections.
Remove Hydraulic Hoses
Loosen connectors with a hydraulic line wrench, collect residual oil with a container.Immediately plug removed hose ends with caps or clean rags to prevent dust ingress.

Connect hoses according to markings: T (return) first → P (inlet) → A/B (work ports).Wrap connector threads with 1–2 turns of Teflon tape or apply oil-resistant thread sealant, avoiding entry into oil passages.Route hoses properly, away from high-temperature and moving parts. Bend radius ≥ 5 times hose outer diameter; avoid kinking or squeezing.
Step 3: Torque Tightening (Standard Values)

V. Post-Installation Commissioning and Testing
1. Venting and Pre-Lubrication
Add the same type of hydraulic oil to the tank to the standard level.Run the engine at idle; move the control lever back and forth to extreme positions repeatedly to bleed air from the system.Monitor oil level and replenish as needed.
2. Function Testing
Idle test: Steering/implement operation is smooth, non-seized, no abnormal noise, with symmetrical left/right steering angle.Pressure test: System reaches rated pressure, no abnormal pressure rise or drop.Check all connectors with cardboard for no leakage.Return test: Spool automatically returns to neutral when lever is released; steering wheel/implement returns smoothly.
3. Final Inspection
Retighten all bolts and connectors and verify torque.Clean the work area and return tools. Run the engine at medium speed for 5 minutes; recheck for leaks, abnormal noise and oil temperature.
