Park the vehicle on a flat and safe ground, pull the handbrake, turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down.

Adjust the vertical bolt and press down the generator to adjust the belt tension. Generally, it is appropriate to easily bend the belt about 90 degrees by hand.
Use a torque wrench to tighten the fixing bolts and nuts of the generator to the specified torque. Generally speaking, the tightening torque of the upper fixing bolt and the fixing nut of the lower through bolt is 23 Newton-meters, and the tightening torque of the fixing nut of the positive wire is 18 Newton-meters. If you are not sure about the specific torque value, refer to the vehicle's maintenance manual.
Check if the generator is installed firmly, all components are connected correctly, and no tools or parts are left behind.
After confirmation, reconnect the negative pole of the vehicle battery.
Start the engine, check if the generator works normally, whether the charging indicator light goes out, and whether the voltage is normal.
Installation must strictly comply with safety specifications and technical requirements, control belt tension and bolt torque to avoid circuit failures, component damage and safety risks.

A torque wrench must be used for bolt tightening, strictly following the specified torque (reference values: 23N・m for upper and lower fixing bolts, 18N・m for positive wire nuts). Consult the vehicle maintenance manual if the torque is unknown.
Follow the "diagonal uniform tightening" principle when fastening bolts to avoid component deformation due to excessive local stress.
After starting the engine, observe the generator's operation. It is considered qualified if there is no abnormal noise or vibration and the charging indicator light goes out normally.
Use a multimeter to test the output voltage, which should be stable between 13.5-14.5V. Check the wiring or belt tension if the voltage is abnormal.
Conduct a 10-15 minute test run. Touch the generator housing to ensure no overheating (not exceeding 60℃) and no unusual odors.
